In conjunction with the North Canton Street Festival.

They will be serving pancakes, sausage, orange juice, and coffee. Tickets can be purchased at the door the morning of the breakfast.

Youth Mission Trip Update

Salvation Army in Parkersburg, WVA was the site chosen for this weekend mission outreach. This location is the largest Salvation Army Station in West Virginia.

The 15 youth and their leader painted the interior rooms of the homeless shelter,and served an evening meal for 60 which they cooked. The youth visited with the Homele3ss residents and those who live on the streets of Parkersburg. Their goal was to give these folks Hope in Christ's message of Love.

On the Sunday, the young people lead the Sunday morning worship service presenting the message, a skit and the music using their own instruments.

A life changing experience for all involved!

Fundings for this trip came thru donations from the congregation, bi-monthly paper drives, and a fund-raising dinner.

A one mile walking diagram has been created by the Stark County Health Department thru a recent grant. The purpose of this grant is to build healthier communities by promoting policy and environmental change focusing on obesity, diabetes, heart disease, healthy eating, physical activity and preventing tobacco use. To promote increasing physical activity in the workplace the diagram is for a one mile outside walk starting from the back alley of the church and walking thru the local neighborhood.

According to the American Heart Association, all healthy adults ages 18-65 should be getting at least 30 minutes of moderate activity five days of the week. Using this one mile walking path diagram the average employee can burn calories, lower their blood pressure, reduce cholesterol, and decrease stress in less than half an hour.

This diagram will be placed near the alley door entrance for anyone interested in walking.
